Workday Benefits & Recruiting Analyst

Overview

This role, based in Canada and fully remote, is ideal for a seasoned Workday professional tasked with enhancing and maintaining the Workday Benefits and Recruiting modules. You will apply your expertise to streamline HR technology systems and improve employee lifecycle processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and continually optimize Workday Benefits and Recruiting modules aligned with evolving organizational needs.
• Oversee benefit plans, eligibility parameters, enrollment periods, recruitment workflows, and system security settings.
• Identify and resolve system issues while offering production support and implementing functional improvements to enhance user experience.
• Assist with release cycles, perform testing, manage change processes, and drive ongoing system enhancements.
• Create and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, calculated fields, and data audits to support robust decision-making.
• Support system integrations and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) processes, ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
• Analyze system operations, recommend improvements to boost efficiency and system reliability.
• Advance complex HR technology projects while ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance of data.

Qualifications and Experience

• Current active Workday certification in Benefits, Recruiting, or related modules.
• More than seven years of direct Workday experience with deep knowledge of Benefits and Recruiting components.
• Strong competence in Workday configuration, business processes, security role management, reporting, and integration techniques.
• Excellent analytical abilities to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Experience supporting large, multifaceted organizations with diverse stakeholder requirements.
• Effective communicator capable of collaborating with HR, technical teams, and business partners.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fully remote setup.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data precision, system efficiency, and continuous enhancement.
