Overview
This role requires a Mechanical Engineering graduate with 10 to 18 years of experience in the automotive and auto components industry. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all aspects of logistics, warehouse operations, purchasing, and materials planning to ensure efficient inventory management and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage logistics and warehouse activities including inbound and outbound operations at the plant.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels using stock analysis methods such as LIFO, FIFO, and JIT, ensuring timely liquidation of stock.
- Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) for warehouse, procurement, and import planning.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on warehouse and purchasing operations.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding order status, shipment details, and product availability promptly.
- Communicate any delays or order issues to customers and provide appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customer service and sales teams to guarantee timely delivery and meet client expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 to 18 years of relevant experience in the automotive or auto components sector.
