Ubuntu AI Trainer - Remote Contract Role

Overview

We are seeking a remote Ubuntu AI Trainer to contribute to AI data training projects on an hourly contract basis. This role involves performing detail-focused tasks such as installing applications, recording actions, and following structured instructions carefully. The position requires candidates to have their own computer with Ubuntu/Linux installed and to be comfortable setting up the necessary software tools. While advanced AI experience is not mandatory, being tech-savvy, reliable, attentive to detail, and able to work independently are key qualities. This is ideal for students, junior professionals, or tech-savvy individuals who appreciate focused and repetitive work within the AI training domain.

Primary Responsibilities

• Adhere to comprehensive written instructions precisely.
• Install and operate software applications on an Ubuntu/Linux system as required by the project.
• Review completed work meticulously before submission to ensure accuracy.
• Detect and report any inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical difficulties encountered.
• Maintain concentration during routine or highly detailed tasks.
• Complete assigned workload in alignment with approximately 15 hours per week availability.
• Engage clearly and promptly with the project team for support when necessary.
• Help enhance the quality and reliability of AI training datasets.

Candidate Profile

• Owns and uses a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable with independently installing apps and setting up project-specific tools.
• Technically adept with the ability to follow setup manuals without assistance.
• Available to dedicate around 15 hours weekly to the role.
• Possesses patience, strong focus, and high attention to detail.
• Capable of adhering strictly to written instructions consistently.
• Thrives in completing repetitive and structured tasks.
• Basic computer proficiency and confidence in browser-based tools.
