Job Overview

Under general guidance, this role involves executing all tasks related to rigging service line equipment both onshore and offshore locations. The specialist will be responsible for planning jobs, including equipment setup, overseeing well site operations, and providing customer support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all stages of rigging up and down service line equipment at work sites onshore and offshore.
• Plan equipment setup and manage well site direction as well as customer support tasks.
• Maintain, set up, test, and operate equipment at customer sites and field camps efficiently.
• Mentor and provide training to junior Service Operators and Operator Assistants to develop their expertise.
• Monitor instruments and carry out calculations to ensure the collected well data meets quality standards.
• Engage with customers regarding services and products, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction with results.
• Check and verify equipment alignment with job plans, maintain equipment appropriately, and complete all job-related documentation.
• Lead pre-job toolbox safety meetings, review job plans with customer representatives, and manage any required changes.
• Perform necessary basic mathematical calculations and comprehend written materials adequately.

Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma and over six years of experience in oil field drilling activities.
• At least four years of experience specifically in underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
• Fulfillment of minimum competency requirements for Service Specialist II - Ground Based Automation level.
