About the Role

Join our Highways team in India as a Transport Planner focusing on Middle East projects. This role gives you a chance to engage in large-scale multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, applying your highway design and transport planning expertise as a design lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain transport models using PTV VISUM, especially for Middle East projects.
- Perform advanced traffic forecasting and analysis using modern methods to effectively manage traffic flows.
- Analyze transport data thoroughly to support planning decisions.
- Conduct research to detect transportation issues and opportunities, and formulate transport plans and policies accordingly.
- Assess impacts of proposed transport projects and design transportation infrastructure including roads, railways, and bicycle lanes.
- Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and policymakers to integrate transportation solutions within land-use planning for sustainable development.
- Provide technical oversight by reviewing and guiding junior team members' work, ensuring quality standards.
- Use transport modelling and analysis tools such as EMME, SATURN, CUBE, AIMSUN, LEGION, Junctions9, Sidra, Linsig, Synchro, and SIDRA.
- Interpret complex datasets to identify patterns, develop creative solutions, and improve transportation processes and outcomes.
- Contribute to drafting reports and delivering presentations that convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain effective communication with project leads and client representatives.
- Mentor and support team members to encourage professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, or a closely related field.
- Between 4 to 6 years of experience in the Middle East sector managing large-scale infrastructure or highway projects, preferably with exposure to global delivery models.
- Professional accreditation such as Chartered status is desirable but not mandatory.
