Role Overview

The Training Program Lead is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive global training program for Moove’s Validation Operations teams across all markets. Success depends on uniformly trained, tested, and certified drivers and supervisors adhering to strict safety protocols from the outset. This foundational role requires a strategic systems thinker who will create a scalable, evolving program ensuring consistent quality and safety standards worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ownership of training quality metrics such as certification integrity, audit outcomes, and cross-market performance.
• Continuously update curriculum, assessments, and certification standards incorporating feedback loops.
• Enforce non-negotiable safe driving behavior standards across markets despite varying pressures.
• Conduct audits of local training and collaborate with Safety and Operations teams to address gaps and risks.
• Develop and manage onboarding curriculum for new in-market leadership covering key systems and KPIs.
• Enable local teams to customize the curriculum to market specifics and integrate their insights into global standards.
• Directly deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions and personally certify initial teams in new markets.
• Plan and manage training roadmaps ensuring adequate capacity, sequencing, and timing aligned with launch schedules.
• Coordinate with Safety, Workforce Planning, Fleet, and Local Operations to align training with operational goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks to training timelines and resource availability, providing strategic escalation when needed.
• Set standards for training tracking, reporting, and visibility including dashboards and certification rosters.
• Define and oversee global standards for training facilities, courses, vehicle equipment, and hardware needed for training.
• Manage infrastructure readiness through local team direction, procurement, supplier relations, and partner coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required; program management certification (e.g., PMI-PgMP, PMP, CPTM) preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years experience in autonomous vehicle operations or training, with proven success building and scaling training programs.
• Strong programmatic skills, managing complex initiatives, mapping dependencies, anticipating risks, and driving cross-team efforts.
• Proven expertise coaching and certifying validation/safety drivers, including training delivery and standardization.
• Track record of prioritizing safety in operational environments, even under launch pressures.
• Proficiency in curriculum design and live training delivery for validation drivers and supervisory roles.
• Excellent audit skills assessing trainer performance and program effectiveness beyond individual trainees.
• Committed to continuous improvement, challenging existing norms to enhance quality, cost, and impact.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally for training delivery and audits.

Working Environment

This role reports to the Head of Validation Operations and works closely with the Central Training & Development team, as well as cross-functional leaders in Safety, Fleet Operations, and Market Launch teams.
