Job description
Role Overview
This trusted and responsible position involves supporting plant management in both operational and strategic tasks, while actively contributing to cross-departmental projects. Through a comprehensive onboarding program, you will develop expertise in raw material recycling. You will gain in-depth hands-on experience in quality-relevant areas such as sampling, sample preparation, analytics, as well as material and inventory management.
Following your induction, you will have a solid understanding of material flow processes, take ownership to ensure smooth operations, and contribute ideas for continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all operational and administrative aspects of the plant, gaining a broad insight into processes.
- Engage in exciting projects and propose ideas for process enhancements.
- Act as a crucial liaison between warehouse logistics and commercial departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
- Ensure the quality of materials by reviewing, monitoring, and reliably documenting quality-related data.
- Coordinate selected warehouse areas related to sampling and evaluation processes, ensuring structured implementation.
- Analyze existing workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of sustainable optimizations, including at international sites.
Candidate Profile
- Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable course combining technical and business administration subjects.
- Interest in technical processes, quality management, and business contexts.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect technical and commercial issues.
- Enjoy working collaboratively across various departments and participating in projects.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and confident presence.
- Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible work style.
- Good command of English spoken and written; additional language skills advantageous.
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips.
- SAP knowledge, ideally in MM and SD modules, is desirable.
- Familiarity with metallurgy, raw material recycling, or quality management is beneficial.
