We are seeking a strategic and data-focused Trade Planning Analyst who excels at transforming complex data into clear insights to optimize trade and promotion planning. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the accurate entry and maintenance of promotional plans within the TPM system (Exceedra).
  • Ensure the integrity of promotional, customer, and financial data by proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with trade forecasting, reporting, and accrual processes via precise system administration.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Finance to maintain up-to-date promotional data.
  • Evaluate and optimize trade plans to maximize authorized retailer portfolio spending.
  • Analyze brand and product group promotions to derive actionable insights that enhance trade investments.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly Trade KPI and Calendar reports for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Implement SOX trade-related controls, conduct ongoing reviews and validations to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Support and coordinate internal and external audits related to trade spending and promotions.
  • Identify and execute improvements to governance processes that mitigate operational risks.
  • Work alongside the Deductions team to verify accurate application of retailer deductions in the TPM system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum four years of experience in retail sales analysis, P&L management, sales reporting, and planning.
  • Strong expertise in managing trade spend within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.
  • Hands-on experience with TPM platforms is essential.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Audit, Accounting, and Finance teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Slack, and related professional tools.
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude and keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in team settings and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly and effectively.
