Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement thorough test strategies, scenarios, scripts, and cases to verify software quality and performance.
• Execute both functional and non-functional testing to confirm that solutions satisfy business needs, technical criteria, and quality benchmarks.
• Evaluate healthcare software including administrative and clinical systems to validate workflows, configurations, and user experience.
• Assess business processes, data accuracy, system behavior, and integrations throughout the software lifecycle.
• Support various testing activities such as system integration, user acceptance, and regression testing.
• Detect, document, communicate, and monitor defects, working with project teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Test authentication and identity management features, notably OpenID Connect (OIDC) across desktop and mobile environments.
• Confirm application settings, security procedures, and data exchanges to maintain operational reliability.
• Partner closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to synchronize testing efforts with project goals.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and present examples showcasing expertise and project outcomes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree or diploma in Software Quality Assurance, Computer Science, Application Development, or a related discipline (proof required).
• At least 5 years of experience in creating and executing test scenarios, scripts, and cases within project settings.
• Minimum 5 years of quality assurance work in healthcare environments, specifically testing administrative and/or clinical systems.
• Over 3 years spent testing healthcare software solutions including validation of business processes and data integrity.
• More than 3 years as a Quality Assurance Analyst in healthcare technology contexts.
• Experience of 3+ years testing OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication workflows on desktop and mobile platforms.
• Strong grasp of functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
• Proven ability to validate application configurations, authentication methods, integrations, and data accuracy.
• Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills to investigate and resolve complex issues.
• Capable of handling multiple testing tasks while ensuring precision and detailed focus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.
• Ability to provide relevant project case studies highlighting healthcare QA and authentication testing experience.
• Must be available for full-time remote work within Canada throughout the contract duration.
