Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
This position is accountable for executing sales strategies, managing distribution channels, and enhancing sales results within both Modern and General Trade sectors across the designated region.
- Implement sales objectives and plans as outlined by the Sales Head for assigned trade formats or regions.
- Oversee goods distribution aligned with demand forecasts, ensuring reliability and order accuracy.
- Boost performance across bulk and retail sales channels in both trade types.
- Supervise daily sales operations to align with organizational targets.
- Analyze market demand to optimize bin allocations and distribution efficiency.
- Identify and utilize revenue-generating avenues to improve profitability in the target market.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships with key accounts, including retailers and distributors.
- Evaluate market trends and customer demands to inform strategic adjustments.
- Negotiate customer contracts, ensuring excellent service and product fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the Sales Head on market trend analysis and customer feedback integration for continuous improvement.
- Address and escalate operational or customer issues as needed, including concerns related to farmer interactions.
- Coordinate with packaging and production teams to synchronize stock packing and distribution per market requirements.
- Monitor and report sales volumes and revenue figures to senior management.

Education and Experience
Candidates should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Agriculture or a Master's in Agri-Business Management. A minimum of 8 years' experience in sales is required, especially with significant exposure to B2B sales. Experience in the perishable goods or FMCG sector is highly preferred.
