Role Overview

This position requires a full-time, onsite Telehandler or Forklift Operator based in Ghana. The role entails operating machinery to assist with daily warehouse and yard operations, including safe transport, lifting, and stacking of materials. Tasks involve loading and unloading trucks, relocating goods to proper storage zones, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. The operator will also conduct routine equipment checks, communicate maintenance needs, support inventory packing and organization, collaborate with shipping and receiving teams, and help maintain a tidy work area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, or related material handling machines
• Competence in material handling and unloading in settings such as warehouses, yards, or industrial sites
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving workflows and associated documentation
• Proficiency in packaging and preparing materials for storage or dispatch
• Possession of relevant equipment operation certification or license, if applicable
• Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and adherence to organizational protocols
• Ability to comprehend directions, effectively collaborate within a team, and communicate clearly
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle lifting and moving materials as needed
• Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or construction sectors is advantageous
