Job Overview

The Maintenance Support Technician (MST) plays a vital role in installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various electrical and plumbing systems within the facility or infrastructure. This position is key to ensuring that systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards for smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and plumbing systems, such as HVAC units, electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, plumbing components, and data port punching and testing.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to detect and rectify any faults or malfunctions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within MST systems using appropriate tools and procedures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other specialized trades and technicians to guarantee the seamless integration and proper functioning of MEP systems within the building's infrastructure.
• Adhere to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately install and connect MEP systems in compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs performed, and inventory of equipment.
• Respond swiftly to emergency incidents and service requests, managing them efficiently and effectively.
• Stay informed about the latest industry developments and technological advancements relevant to the role.
