Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced recruiter on a one-year contract to join our Technical Recruiting Team. This role involves partnering with various engineering groups as a strategic talent consultant, managing end-to-end recruitment processes from initial outreach through to hire completion. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in sourcing challenging and specialized technical roles, particularly in fields like infrastructure, AI, and machine learning.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive searches for engineering talent across multiple technical teams.
- Guide candidates smoothly through the interview process to ensure an outstanding experience.
- Perform market research to identify and engage with the highest quality technical candidates.
- Build and sustain relationships with top talent for current and future opportunities at Airbnb.
- Leverage data analytics to enhance recruitment efficiency and foster innovative hiring approaches.
- Generate detailed hiring progress and outcome reports using data-driven insights.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Airbnb's Technical Leadership on talent acquisition matters.
Qualifications and Expertise
- At least five years of experience as a technical recruiter, with a strong focus on senior-level hires.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, experience with Gem and/or Airtable is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in establishing trust and credibility with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Excellent consultative ability and influence across organizational levels.
- Exceptional communication skills combined with professional discretion and sound judgment.
- Capability to navigate complexity and deliver outcomes in fast-evolving environments.
- Highly resilient and resourceful, thriving amid ambiguity.
Location and Work Environment
This is a remote role open to candidates located within the United States states where Airbnb maintains a registered entity. Occasional visits to Airbnb offices or participation in offsite meetings may be required as coordinated with management. Candidates should verify their eligibility based on their state of residence.
