About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Quotation Expert to join our team in Chandigarh. The position is full-time and involves preparing precise, prompt, and competitive quotations for technical and engineering products and services. Ideal candidates will be skilled at interpreting technical documents, calculating costs, and collaborating across departments to support sales efforts effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical quotations derived from customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Accurately compute costs including materials, labor, overhead expenses, and profit margins.
• Work closely with sales and procurement teams to finalize pricing strategies.
• Keep thorough records of quotation data, manage follow-ups, and document all revisions.
• Engage with clients and vendors to clarify and confirm technical details.
• Ensure all quotations are delivered within established deadlines.
• Review historical quotation data to enhance pricing accuracy and increase success rates.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of technical or engineering terminology and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and quotation software.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• High attention to detail and numerical precision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• Previous experience in quotation preparation, cost analysis, or technical sales support is advantageous.
