This role is part of Macro’s Managing Agent team supporting operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with close collaboration with the leadership team based in Dubai.

Role overview

The Technical Services Manager will act as the local technical lead for the Saudi Arabia portfolio. The position carries responsibility for technical governance, supplier oversight, operational inspections, and compliance assurance across multiple sites and service providers. The aim is to ensure all technical service partners deliver safe, compliant, and effective maintenance services that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily performance of technical service vendors and specialist contractors.
  • Track delivery against KPI and SLA targets across all technical activities.
  • Carry out regular technical site inspections and compliance checks.
  • Support governance forums and supplier performance review meetings.
  • Put corrective action plans and service enhancement measures into practice.
  • Check maintenance records, technical reporting, and planned preventive maintenance completion.
  • Inspect plant rooms and assess the condition of assets.
  • Ensure contractors follow required operating procedures and technical standards.
  • Assist with permit-to-work controls and safety management processes.
  • Highlight technical risks and operational concerns when needed.
  • Verify adherence to local regulations and client-specific requirements.
  • Support audits, inspections, and wider assurance programmes.
  • Keep technical records, asset data, and compliance files up to date.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning and incident investigations.
  • Develop effective working relationships with client stakeholders and service providers.
  • Provide regular operational reporting and updates.
  • Support mobilisation activity, transitions, and ongoing service improvements.
  • Serve as the local escalation contact for technical matters when required.

Experience in IFM, managing agent, or outsourced FM environments would be an advantage.
