Teamcenter Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced PLM Developer with 5 to 7 years of expertise to join our team as a Teamcenter Developer. The role involves supporting API integration and testing projects by analyzing Teamcenter business workflows, leveraging existing SOA services, developing custom SOA services as needed, and assisting with API testing. The candidate will work closely with various teams including business, development, and testing to ensure smooth integration between Teamcenter and external applications.

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate Teamcenter business requirements to identify appropriate existing SOA services for integration.
• Develop, customize, and deploy Teamcenter SOA services tailored to project needs.
• Create and implement custom APIs and service extensions when standard services do not suffice.
• Collaborate with API testing teams by providing detailed service specifications, payload formats, and test scenarios.
• Identify and resolve issues related to Teamcenter integration, SOA services, and API transactions.
• Produce and maintain reusable service components adhering to Teamcenter development best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and assist integration testing of developed services.
• Engage with business analysts and functional consultants to gather requirements and suggest technical solutions.
• Verify accurate data exchange between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems.
• Document technical aspects including service design, deployment instructions, and API specifications.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring coding standards compliance.
• Provide support during production deployments and post-launch activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java and C++ programming languages.
• Expertise in Teamcenter ITK (Integration Toolkit) and Teamcenter SOA APIs.
• Practical experience in developing web services and integrating APIs.
