Role Overview

Pickwick Academy Trust is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and adaptable Teaching Assistant for Corsham Primary School's Pound Pill site. The appointee will collaborate closely with classroom teachers to facilitate children’s learning and growth within a positive and inclusive environment.

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Location: Pound Pill, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9YW
• Contract Type: Fixed-term until 31 Aug 2027
• Working Hours: 30 hours weekly (Monday to Friday, term-time only), 38 weeks per year
• Working Pattern: 8:40 AM to 3:10 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (exact timing to be confirmed)
• Salary Range (FTE): 25,185 to 25,989 annually
• Actual Salary: 17,114 to 17,660 per annum pro-rated
• Number of Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

The assistant will contribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom atmosphere, assist with learning activities, and collaborate with faculty, families, and external professionals. School Environment

Corsham Primary School operates across two sites, accommodating children from Reception through Year 6. The Pound Pill site consists of 14 classes and the Broadwood site of 10 classes.
