Role Overview

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify and attract highly qualified professionals for vital IT positions throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will collaborate closely with the recruitment team to support a diverse array of corporate roles across various offices. This role demands ownership of search strategies, outreach initiatives, and initial candidate evaluations to ensure a continuous flow of top-tier candidates and the establishment of a robust talent pool for future organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source exceptional candidates to fill critical IT vacancies across APAC.
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to comprehend role specifics, candidate profiles, and tailor sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Utilize direct sourcing channels, social media platforms, conducting talent mapping and relationship management to access both active and passive candidates.
• Effectively communicate and promote BCG’s employment value proposition during candidate interactions and professional networking events.
• Manage and implement social media strategies to enhance and maintain BCG’s employer brand visibility.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines by engaging with user groups, blogs, and industry networking forums to anticipate future hiring needs.
• Create appealing recruitment marketing and social media content to stimulate candidate interest.
• Conduct preliminary screening and perform high-level assessments of candidates’ knowledge, skills, competencies, and fit for specific roles.
• Maintain accurate tracking, management, and reporting of candidate pipelines within the applicant tracking system.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree with a record of strong academic accomplishment is required.
• Three to five or more years of demonstrated success in recruiting or talent acquisition, with proven expertise in direct sourcing methods.
• Experience sourcing candidates within the APAC region is preferred.
• Proficient research skills and strong candidate generation capabilities.
• Clear, effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging direct sourcing technologies.
• Strong social media acumen, including how to leverage it effectively for recruitment purposes.
• Ability to clearly define and understand specific role requirements.
• Professional telephone etiquette with experience in behavioral interviewing techniques.
• Strong project management skills with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment assignments concurrently.
• Creative problem-solving skills to devise innovative talent identification strategies.
• Excellent command of English is mandatory.
