About the Role and Team
The Talent Fulfillment Group at Ather Energy is dedicated to aligning the right engineering and business talent with suitable projects at optimal times. This function acts as a critical interface between talent supply and demand, optimizing workforce deployment in our evolving electric vehicle ecosystem. As a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the entire resource fulfillment process, collaborating closely with engineering leadership to understand project requirements and monitor talent availability, thereby ensuring teams have the resources needed to innovate and succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract staffing lifecycle, ensuring timely fulfillment of all talent requirements.
- Oversee the contract staffing team, continually refining and enhancing processes to improve efficiency.
- Source and allocate appropriate talent in compliance with agreed service level agreements by coordinating with vendors regarding specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for swift closure of open positions and resource deployment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract resource databases.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on agreed performance metrics.
- Manage vendor payroll, purchase orders, and invoicing procedures.
- Assess vendor quality based on metrics and recruit new partners to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Handle joining and exit formalities, attendance, statutory compliance, and absenteeism management for contract employees.
- Coordinate with Talent Operations and Talent Partner teams on contract staff pay revisions.
- Partner with compliance, employee relations, industrial relations, and talent teams on compliance and statutory matters.
- Research industry best practices for policies and procedures, implementing improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
- Engage proactively with function leaders to identify issues and design long-term solutions.
- Negotiate timelines, SLAs, policies, and benefits with leadership to achieve optimal arrangements.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management or related fields.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar talent acquisition and contract staffing role.

- Comprehensive understanding of both HR processes and business dynamics.

- Prior experience managing contract or third-party employees and associated statutory compliance.
Preferred Competencies
- Basic awareness of engineering domains including hardware, software, and manufacturing to better align talent with technical projects.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies to coordinate resource allocation with fast-paced, iterative project cycles.
- Capability to identify upskilling opportunities based on future business needs and existing skill gaps.
- Experience in creating dynamic dashboards and reporting tools to enable leadership’s independent analysis of talent utilization.
