Role Overview
We seek a proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to oversee the entire recruitment process for a diverse set of professional, technical, government, and operational roles. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this fully remote position demands managing a high-volume, rapid hiring cycle during a period of substantial organizational growth. The ideal candidate balances swift execution with strategic refinement of recruiting processes, emphasizing quality hires without compromising standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending job offers concurrently across multiple openings.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates through various platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, RecruitMilitary, VetJobs, and defense-specific networks.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to craft detailed role descriptions, set clear expectations, and drive timely hiring progress.
- Conduct phone screens and structured interviews and support hiring teams to improve their interviewing capabilities through coaching.
- Contribute to enhancing recruitment workflows and tools to establish standardization and consistency within the function.
- Advise leadership on strategic workforce planning, sourcing tactics, and provide market intelligence insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Between 5 and 7 years of talent acquisition experience, with a proven ability to fill positions through direct sourcing and active outreach.
- Demonstrated success targeting and engaging passive candidates, not limited to managing inbound applicant pipelines.
- Experience recruiting technical or engineering professionals, particularly in challenging-to-fill specialties.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills across organizational levels.
- Ability to function effectively amid ambiguity and build structured recruiting processes from the ground up.
- Preferred background in government contracting or defense sectors.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and contemporary sourcing technologies.
- A focus on efficiency measured by pipeline progression and hires rather than mere activity metrics.
