Role Overview
Servbank is hiring a detail-focused, people-oriented Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to support end-to-end hiring across its banking and mortgage servicing functions. In this position, you will help identify, evaluate, and bring in strong candidates while also assisting with onboarding so that new hires have a seamless and welcoming start.
This opportunity is well suited to a recruiter who thrives in a fast-moving setting, handles high-volume hiring comfortably, and works closely with hiring managers to keep recruitment efficient, compliant, and organized.

Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
- Lead the complete recruiting process for banking, servicing, and operations positions such as call center, deposit operations, and servicing specialist roles.
- Work with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs, job expectations, and the type of candidate best suited for each opening.
- Identify and engage candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
- Review resumes and conduct phone screenings to evaluate experience, capabilities, and alignment with the organization.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews while keeping candidates informed and engaged at each stage.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of banking candidates and ensure records are accurately updated in the ATS, such as Paylocity or a comparable system.
Onboarding and Candidate Experience
- Help manage onboarding tasks, including offer letters, background screening, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Collaborate with HR to support a smooth handoff from accepted offer through the employee’s first day.
- Communicate onboarding steps and expectations clearly to new hires.
- Support the coordination of new hire orientation when needed.
Requirements
- Between 2 and 5 years of recruiting experience, ideally in banking, financial services, or another high-volume hiring environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting full-cycle recruitment.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems; experience with Paylocity is considered an advantage.
- Some exposure to onboarding or HR coordination responsibilities.
- Understanding of employment laws and established hiring practices.
- Strong ability to stay organized and manage several requisitions at the same time.
- Very good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build productive relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
- Careful attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
