Role overview
This position sits within the talent acquisition function and covers end-to-end hiring support in a corporate environment in Singapore. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer handling, onboarding support, and maintaining recruitment operations in line with company standards and local employment requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Own the complete hiring process from sourcing and screening through interview scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
- Find suitable candidates using job boards, professional networks, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines and talent maps to meet both current and upcoming hiring needs.
- Draft, update, and manage job descriptions, job ads, and related recruitment documents.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs, share market information, and provide recruitment guidance.
- Arrange interviews and keep candidates informed at each step to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
- Prepare offer letters, manage pre-employment paperwork, and coordinate onboarding activities.
- Oversee internship recruitment and placement work, including coordination with educational institutions and internship administration.
- Assist with new-hire orientation, training coordination, probation monitoring, and employee development initiatives.
- Keep recruitment records accurate and produce reports and hiring metrics when needed.
- Ensure all recruitment and selection activities follow Singapore employment laws, TAFEP fair employment principles, PDPA requirements, and internal policies.
- Stay informed about labour market changes and modern recruitment practices to improve hiring outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources is needed.
- Prior exposure to full-cycle recruitment in a corporate setting or recruitment agency environment is expected.
- Sound knowledge of Singapore employment practices, recruitment processes, and relevant legislation is important.
- Strong candidate sourcing, stakeholder management, and interviewing capabilities are essential.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are needed for working with candidates and internal teams.
- Strong organisation and multitasking ability is required in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.
- The ideal candidate should be self-driven, detail-focused, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is necessary to engage Mandarin-speaking candidates, hiring managers, and regional stakeholders, including work involving Chinese-language documents and communications.
Additional information
This role is based in Changi, East Region, Singapore and is a full-time onsite position. The recruitment scope also includes internship hiring, and the work must comply with Singapore employment legislation, TAFEP guidelines, and the PDPA.
