Bi-Mart Corporation, a well-established company serving the Northwest for over 70 years, is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Swing Shift Freight Clerk to join their Receiving team at the Sweet Home, OR location. Role Summary

The Freight Clerk will be an energetic and organized team member responsible for supporting inventory management and customer service operations. The position involves unloading delivery trucks safely and efficiently, stocking merchandise accurately either in the backroom or on the sales floor, assisting with inventory replenishment, cashier duties, and maintaining store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly and securely unload incoming delivery trucks.
• Precisely stock and organize inventory in backroom and on sales floor.
• Assist with inventory replenishment and cashiering tasks as needed.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful presence to support customer service and team goals.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependability with punctuality and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and stay organized.
• Problem-solving ability to meet customers' needs effectively.
• Engagement skills for assisting diverse individuals.
• Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, warehouse operations, or related roles is preferred.
• Exposure to retail environments such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons is advantageous.

Work Schedule

The role requires working a swing shift mainly outside usual business hours, typically four ten-hour overnight shifts weekly. Shift times may vary based on location and workload demands.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers hourly pay ranging from $16.10 to $19.25.
