Role Overview

Based in Riyadh, this position supports surveying and engineering assignments by creating precise CAD drawings, handling survey datasets, and keeping project documentation accurate and well organized. The role also contributes to drafting quality, GIS and mapping work, and overall data integrity across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D survey and engineering drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Convert and process field survey information gathered through GNSS, Total Stations, Digital Levels, UAVs, and similar instruments.
• Develop topographic maps, site layouts, utility drawings, cross-sections, profiles, and as-built outputs.
• Assist with GIS data preparation, map creation, and the alignment of CAD and GIS files.
• Track drawing logs, revision records, and project files in line with internal standards.
• Carry out checks to confirm drawings meet project requirements, QA/QC expectations, and drafting conventions.
• Work with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to deliver accurate outputs on time.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, CAD Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in survey-related drafting and engineering drawing work.
• Hands-on ability with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Experience working with GNSS and Total Station survey data.
• Good knowledge of drafting standards, coordinate systems, and topographic mapping practices.
