Hanley Energy focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting advanced energy management solutions, partnering with leading global companies to deliver critical power systems. The company is expanding and is hiring a Supply Planner to support operations at its manufacturing facility in Monaghan.
Job Purpose and Location
The Supply Planner will ensure an efficient and responsive supply chain, balancing demand planning, material procurement, and production scheduling to meet customer needs and operational goals. The role is based in Dundalk with required travel to Kingscourt three days per week for one year, transitioning to a full-time Dundalk location thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain supply plans considering demand forecasts, production capacity, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs.
- Create weekly and monthly production and component schedules aligned with demand and capacity.
- Regularly track customer requirements and production plans, adjusting schedules accordingly.
- Manage materials replenishment to support production timelines and project schedules.
- Identify potential component shortages proactively and notify material planners.
- Oversee production adherence to planned schedules and manage component availability on the production floor.
- Coordinate closely with S&OP, material planners, production, and warehouse teams to ensure synchronized planning and timely delivery.
- Lead weekly alignment meetings and distribute manufacturing schedules.
- Manage the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process and master data within SAP, ensuring timely execution and requisition creation for materials.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to maintain and control the Bill of Materials in SAP.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in supply planning, materials management, or production planning, ideally within manufacturing or energy sectors.
- Experienced user of ERP systems, with proficiency in SAP strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Proactive problem-solving aptitude in fast-paced production settings.
