About the Opportunity
Join the Integrated Planning team at Farmlands Co-operative, New Zealand's largest farming co-operative and one of the most extensive retail and distribution networks in the country. You will take charge of a varied product range, ensuring product availability nationwide, while balancing inventory performance with customer needs. This position goes beyond routine replenishment, allowing you to influence supply decisions across Merchandising, Sales, Logistics, and Warehousing departments.
Your role will be pivotal in guaranteeing that farmers, growers, and rural communities have timely access to essential products, supporting robust inventory management across the national supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop supply plans that balance optimal inventory investment with high product availability.
- Manage inventory replenishment across the retail and distribution center network.
- Utilize forecast data, sales insights, and business intelligence to guide planning decisions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively address supply risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate regular planning meetings to align supply priorities and operational actions across teams.
- Monitor inventory levels, product availability, and supply chain performance, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Support the introduction of new products and ongoing portfolio adjustments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in planning processes, systems, and operating methods.
Candidate Profile
- At least three years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, procurement, or related supply chain roles.
- Proficient analytical skills with confidence in using planning software and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Logility, Power BI, or similar planning tools is advantageous.
Ideal candidates may currently hold positions such as Supply Planner, Inventory Planner, Demand Planner, Buyer, or Procurement Specialist and seek to advance their career.
