Role Overview
This four-month contract role entails full responsibility for supply planning across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. Your fundamental goal will be to optimize stock availability, manage inventory efficiently, and control costs. This includes overseeing copacking operations and supplier coordination, ensuring smooth stock flow through the supply network with minimal disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inventory levels across ANZ warehouses to meet business needs
- Overseeing copacking and relabelling processes, including limited-time offers and imports
- Generating and monitoring purchase orders with both local and international suppliers
- Conducting daily stock level reconciliations and taking proactive action against potential low stock coverage
- Coordinating inbound freight with freight forwarders and vendors
- Performing inventory data analysis to inform stock level and service-related decisions
- Handling slow-moving and obsolete inventory items (SLOB)
- Supporting production scheduling and replenishment across the network
- Maintaining comprehensive reporting and communicating insights clearly to relevant stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in supply planning, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
- Familiarity with import processes and supplier management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and lookups
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Meticulous attention to detail and capability to work independently
- Exposure to SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) systems is advantageous
