Supplier Director

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior Director of Supplier Management to design, build, and improve a global supplier management framework that supports growth across real estate development, blockchain technology, and digital asset operations. This leadership role centers on supplier sourcing, evaluation, partnership development, risk management, and strategic procurement, with the goal of keeping the supply chain dependable, secure, and efficient while creating long-term business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and roll out the company’s supplier management strategy, including structured processes for supplier onboarding, assessment, performance review, and exit management.
• Manage sourcing and relationship development with suppliers worldwide across real estate development, construction engineering, smart hardware, software development, cloud services, blockchain technology, and professional services.
• Build a long-term supplier partnership model and negotiate agreements that improve cost efficiency and help integrate resources.
• Work in close coordination with procurement, engineering, legal, finance, technology, and operations teams to keep projects moving on schedule.
• Track supplier contract delivery to ensure service quality, timeline adherence, and cost discipline remain within company standards.
• Set up a supplier risk framework to continuously evaluate supply chain disruption exposure, compliance issues, data security concerns, and operational risks.
• Support the creation of a digital supply chain by applying blockchain-based tools to strengthen transparency, contract traceability, and data reliability.
• Define supplier KPIs, run regular performance reviews, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Negotiate with critical suppliers and manage disputes in a way that protects the company’s commercial position.
• Follow global supply chain developments in real estate and blockchain to recommend long-term strategy improvements.
• Lead and grow a high-performing supplier management team, including mentoring talent and strengthening team capabilities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or above is required; backgrounds in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering Management, or similar areas are preferred. An MBA is also preferred.
• More than 25 years of experience in supplier management, strategic procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 12 years in a senior leadership role at a large enterprise.
• Prior experience in a senior supplier management position at a major real estate developer, PropTech company, blockchain organization, construction group, or multinational business.
• Strong familiarity with supply chain systems used in real estate development, construction materials, smart buildings, digital platforms, and blockchain-related operations.
• Deep hands-on experience in global supplier sourcing, qualification review, performance management, and strategic partnership building.
• Excellent negotiation, contract administration, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong capability in supply chain risk management, compliance oversight, and international procurement procedures.
• Advanced data analysis ability and comfort using digital tools to continuously improve supplier performance.
• Proven leadership, strategic planning, and team-building experience.
• Fluent English communication skills and willingness to travel internationally for business.

Additional Information

This is a senior full-time onsite leadership role based in the United States. The role requires extensive experience and international business travel.
