Job Overview

The role involves implementing and deploying application software tailored for retail environments, providing user support and training, ensuring compliance with regulations and data security, analyzing operational data for improvements, and monitoring application performance to enhance healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing new applications or modifying existing ones to meet retail industry requirements for assigned software.
• Provide second-level support to end users for assigned applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues per service level agreements (SLAs).
• Analyze user requirements to design effective solutions that streamline workflows, improve patient care, and boost operational efficiency.
• Support implementation of new software releases or major updates with minimal disruption and ensure system compatibility.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors providing specialized application support, ensuring solutions meet end-user needs.
• Constantly monitor application performance in a dynamic retail setting, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Maintain strict patient privacy by adhering to data protection standards across all applications.
• Stay informed on new technologies in IT and pharmacy sectors, exploring tools such as telepharmacy, mobile health applications, and AI-driven solutions.
• Work closely with pharmacists, healthcare practitioners, and insurance entities to align IT solutions with organizational goals and healthcare delivery.

Work Environment

• 100% indoor work setting.
• Five working days per week with two days off.
• Working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM including a one-hour break.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, preferably in Management Information Systems (MIS) Systems Design or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years working in IT applications within retail or a related sector.

Technical Skills

• Experience with store-specific applications and general retail information systems.
• Programming proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, and .NET.
• Database expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems including SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Languages

• Fluency in English and Arabic.
