Role Overview
The Store In Charge position is responsible for overseeing all facets of store operations, including handling shipments, stock management, inventory control, documentation, and supervising the store team. This role guarantees that store records are precise, materials are delivered promptly, storage practices meet standards, and a safe work environment is maintained.
Primary Duties
- Direct, train, and oversee store personnel to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage daily activities such as receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
- Keep accurate and real-time inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock accuracy.
- Record all warehouse transactions, deliveries, and movements of materials.
- Coordinate the timely distribution of materials to project sites and production units.
- Arrange the store layout to facilitate proper storage, particularly for valuable items.
- Track consumable inventory and manage tool issuance and returns.
- Verify incoming supplies against requisitions and invoices, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain adherence to Health and Safety regulations within the store.
- Generate operational reports and provide necessary documentation support to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in storekeeping, warehouse supervision, or related functions.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management systems and documentation standards.
- Experience with ERP or inventory tracking software is essential.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication capabilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
