Job Overview
Seeking a reliable Store Driver to manage the safe delivery of automotive parts to professional customers and efficiently support store operations in St. Catharines, Ontario. This role involves handling deliveries, collections, customer interactions, and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, organize, and safely deliver automotive parts to professional clientele.
- Collect returns and core parts from customers.
- Distribute sales flyers on a weekly or monthly basis while actively promoting current promotions and loyalty programs.
- Gather payments from credit accounts daily.
- Build and sustain relationships with MainStreet and National professional customers by sharing valuable insights gained during deliveries.
- Support upselling and cross-selling efforts to increase transaction values.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including floors, restrooms, product facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
- Perform general stocking duties such as truck stocking, back stock management, and cycle counts.
- Stay informed on inventory and new product arrivals to assist in sales activities.
- Engage walk-in customers to identify their needs and recommend relevant parts or services.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Accurate basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Willingness to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Confidence in engaging with customers and promoting products.
- Eagerness to learn about new products and sales strategies.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in automotive parts is advantageous.
Education and Licensing
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Physical Demands
The role requires predominantly walking or standing, with physical capabilities to talk, hear, handle objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds is necessary, occasionally requiring assistance to move loads up to 100 pounds. Visual capabilities include close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The environment includes indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and tasks such as installing batteries and wiper blades. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, chemicals, electrical risk, explosives, and vibration may occur occasionally. Noise levels are typically moderate.
Compensation
The expected pay range is 17.60 - 18.85 Canadian dollars per hour, depending on experience, location, education, and shift differential if applicable.
