Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare the Receiving Area, unload merchandise trailers, including completing active unloading of goods.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of merchandise, maintaining temperature-sensitive guidelines for refrigerated and frozen items, and move pallets for overnight processing.
- Assist with restocking the sales floor as required and offer customer support to enhance shopping satisfaction.
- Organize and label overstock items in allocated zones to streamline inventory management.
- Adhere strictly to company safety rules to maintain a hazard-free, clean workspace; perform safety sweep checklists and secure displays and fixtures.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate business operations.
Challenges Associated with the Role
- Effectively manage working overnight hours while maintaining high energy and concentration levels.
- Handle a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in restocking and recovery.
- Perform physical activities such as standing for long durations, bending, and lifting weights up to 20 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Execute repetitive tasks focused on stocking, zoning, and organizing merchandise with consistent attention to quality standards.

Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $18.40 per hour.
