About the Role
Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic retail setting. This role involves unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and transferring pallets to the shop floor while ensuring a safe and clean environment. Your contribution is vital to smooth store operations and delivering a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders from various temperature zones, ensuring products are correctly selected and labeled to meet delivery timelines.
- Maintain product quality by selecting fresh items, removing damaged goods, and completing all necessary documentation like pick slips and shipping labels with precision.
- Pack totes efficiently to optimize space usage while preserving product integrity and safety protocols.
- Support customers and team members by balancing order fulfillment with positive interaction, offering assistance and resolving issues when required.
- Adhere strictly to safety, food hygiene, and quality guidelines, including prompt spill management, cleaning totes before use, operating equipment safely, and conducting safety checks.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
Work Environment Challenges
- Manage high task volumes in a fast-paced, overnight work environment by planning ahead to sustain energy and focus.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Complete repetitive duties including stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
