Startups & Venture Building

The role

In this position, you take end-to-end ownership of startup success. Your focus will be on finding, choosing, enabling, and scaling the next wave of AI startups, while also shaping venture creation and venture growth initiatives across the wider ecosystem.

What you will do

• Take responsibility for the full startup journey, from application review through to scale-up.
• Create, run, and improve startup programs, cohort structures, and venture-building efforts.
• Develop and maintain strong pipelines of founders and startup candidates.
• Lead startup screening, onboarding, milestone tracking, and Demo Day execution.
• Help startups with commercialization, pilot opportunities, and growth support.
• Handle strategic partnerships with ecosystem operators and startup enablers.
• Prepare startups for Seed Fund readiness by building investment-ready pipelines.
• Work closely with the Platform, Partnerships, and Intelligence functions.

Profile

This role is best suited to a hands-on startup operator and ecosystem builder who has worked with accelerators, venture studios, incubators, venture-building initiatives, or startup portfolios. The ideal candidate can spot talent, assess startups, support founders, and help ventures move from concept to commercialization.

You should bring a balance of founder empathy and strong execution discipline. Comfort with evaluating pitch decks, helping founders win customers, preparing startups for investors, and designing venture-building programs is important.

Founders should feel confident in your support because you understand the realities of building from the ground up.

This is not a VC analyst role where you only observe from afar. In this job, you work directly with founders and actively help them succeed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in platform management, product management, startup ecosystems, digital innovation, community building, or a related area.
• Background in AI, technology, SaaS, venture capital, startup ecosystems, or digital platforms is strongly preferred.
• English fluency is mandatory, and Arabic would be an advantage.
