Solution Engineer - APAC

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Solutions Engineer located in Singapore to support our customers and prospects throughout the APAC region. This position blends technical knowledge with customer engagement, requiring collaboration across Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. The successful candidate will assist organizations in protecting their mobile applications from reverse engineering and tampering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team during demos, meetings, events, and proof of concepts.
• Guide customers and prospects through onboarding and deployment procedures.
• Optimize client product configurations to maximize solution value.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the client lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Support and Engineering on technical support and configuration inquiries.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Provide customer and prospect feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in mobile security, reverse engineering, and application protection technologies.
• Work closely with global teams across various time zones.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Solutions Engineering, PreSales, or a related technical customer-facing role within a SaaS or software company.
• Proficient coding and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of Android and/or iOS application development.
• Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, Xcode, and mobile build workflows.
• Keen interest in mobile app security and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Ability to confidently convey technical information to developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset paired with excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity or application security domains.
• Knowledge of Guardsquare products like ProGuard, DexGuard, and iXGuard.
• Experience with reverse engineering and related tooling.
• Exposure to enterprise clients in banking, financial services, or fintech industries.
• Additional language skills in Mandarin/Chinese and/or Malay.
