Key Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, maintainable code using languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, or Scala, with a strong focus on enhancing system architecture.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for features—from design through technical implementation—actively contributing to team strategy and direction.
- Promote operational excellence by simplifying system maintenance and improving visibility and stability of production services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to devise creative solutions to marketplace challenges.
- Engage in ongoing learning: receive mentorship from senior engineers and, in turn, help peers by sharing insights and reviewing code.
Who We're Looking For
- Recent graduates (within the last year) holding a Computer Science or related technical degree.
- Experience in web-based software development, with motivation to master our technical stack.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and thoroughly tested code.
- Understanding of relational database systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing and breaking down complex problems into practical software solutions.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
