Software Engineer, Full Stack

Basetwo offers a low-code AI platform built for manufacturing engineers. The product is designed to help teams diagnose production issues, fine-tune processes, improve efficiency, and cut down on waste.

With the platform, manufacturing engineers can strengthen their view of plant operations, make faster decisions as events unfold, create dependable data transformation pipelines, and connect data that is currently spread across different systems.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute to one or more new product initiatives. You will work closely with the product and design teams to shape a polished user experience and deliver it in a modular, scalable way.

What You Will Do

• Define and deliver product features that are visually strong and inspire customer confidence through reliable, predictable behavior.
• Develop across the full stack, including AWS, Python, and PostgreSQL on the backend and React, HTML, and CSS on the frontend.
• Take part in recurring design discussions and reviews.
• Create internal tools that streamline workflows and improve team productivity.
• Promote engineering best practices and support their adoption across the team.

Requirements

You should be genuinely interested in modern JavaScript frameworks, open to experimenting with new approaches, and comfortable suggesting improvements proactively. Clear communication and a preference for simple, well-crafted solutions that create direct user value are important for this role.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on modern full-stack web applications.
• Comfort working with both backend and frontend technologies, with interest in JavaScript, React, and Python.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks.
• Hands-on production experience with SQL and database design using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture.
• A strong ownership mindset, with attention to long-term maintainability and extensibility.

Bonus Experience

• Experience building solutions on AWS.
• Advanced proficiency in React and Python.
• Startup-style qualities such as teamwork, self-direction, integrity, pragmatism, resourcefulness, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
