Job Overview
Forefront Academy seeks a dedicated and passionate Social Science Teacher to instruct students from Grades 3 to 8. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive education in subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics tailored to the grade level. Key Duties
- Develop and execute engaging lesson plans based on the school's curriculum.
- Teach various Social Science disciplines appropriate to the students' grade.
- Encourage students to cultivate critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods such as discussions, projects, and activities to foster active learning.
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, projects, and classroom participation.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic assistance promptly.
- Keep detailed records of attendance, evaluations, and individual student development.
- Maintain a supportive, inclusive, and orderly classroom atmosphere.
- Incorporate technology and current affairs into lessons to ensure relevance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, school coordinators, and parents for holistic student development.
- Engage actively in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular events.
Additional Information
