Role Overview

The Site Operative plays a key role in maintaining site cleanliness and safety while assisting the broader site team with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth project progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of site welfare facilities.
• Properly store materials and supervise unloading of deliveries.
• Ensure safe access and exit routes to welfare areas are maintained.
• Maintain and improve pedestrian walkways and clear signage throughout the development.
• Ensure the site and sales areas are presented neatly and professionally.
• Keep individual plots clean and safe at all times, including preparation for NHBC inspections and protecting second fix items.
• Secure the site and plots by opening and locking up at the start and end of each day.
• Support general housekeeping tasks and assist the site team and specialist trades when needed.
• Maintain clear walkways and assist with traffic management to uphold health and safety standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full clean driving license.
• Ability to work cooperatively alongside team members and various tradespeople.
• Capable of traveling to multiple sites within the region.
• Strong awareness of safety protocols and practices on site.
