Position Overview

As a Shop Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager in day-to-day shop operations and leading the team to ensure the shop’s success. Your responsibilities will include preparing fresh ingredients and bakery products compliant with company standards, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to sales growth by driving business profitability. You will receive comprehensive training and have opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and create a positive shopping experience.
• Receive and inspect daily stock deliveries.
• Assist in managing shop inventory and produce stock levels.
• Maintain appealing and accurate shop displays.
• Possess strong familiarity with all company products.
• Prepare food items following predefined specifications.
• Ensure consistent quality control of food and produce.
• Adhere to strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.
• Capable of opening and closing the store as assigned.
• Manage shifts across various times during the week.
• Implement strategies to drive sales and reduce waste.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service settings is essential.
• Experience in food production is beneficial but not required, as full training is provided.

Compensation and Working Hours

The offered pay rate is £13.00 per hour. The role is based on a 39-hour working week distributed over 5 days between Monday and Sunday. While the shops open early with predetermined shift schedules, there is flexibility to discuss working hours to suit your needs.
