Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer specializing in site supervision to join our Dubai team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, safety regulations, budget constraints, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from initial design through completion, ensuring compliance with specifications, budgets, and schedule.
• Develop and critically review engineering designs, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Perform site inspections and quality control assessments to verify project compliance with requirements and local regulations.
• Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders in multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to junior engineers and technical personnel.
• Compile and deliver technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations to management and clients.
• Enforce and sustain safety standards and protocols on construction sites.
• Diagnose and address complex engineering challenges over the lifetime of projects.
• Keep abreast of industry innovations, emerging technologies, and sustainable construction methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
• At least 10 years of civil engineering experience, particularly in site supervision roles.
• Proven ability to successfully lead large-scale construction projects.
• Deep understanding of civil engineering principles and best practices.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong leadership, project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai and UAE building codes and regulations.
• Experience with sustainable construction practices and familiarity with LEED certification.
• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Flexibility to work on-site and travel as needed.
