Senior Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Site Engineer to manage and oversee daily civil and finishing operations on designated construction sites. This role involves handling manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth progress on allocated projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and plan daily civil and finishing tasks across assigned areas, coordinating subcontractors and resources effectively.
• Interpret and implement approved technical drawings, method statements, and specifications, guaranteeing alignment with the latest revisions.
• Compile daily progress reports, weekly forward-looking schedules, and updates on productivity for the Project Manager's review.
• Coordinate technical activities such as survey work, formwork, reinforcement concrete work, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishes, and interfaces with relevant MEP systems.
• Inspect construction work prior to covering up to identify and resolve quality issues; manage inspection requests for both materials and workmanship.
• Minimise rework by organizing phased checks and ensuring mock-ups or samples meet approval standards before mass execution.
• Issue material requisitions promptly and liaise with procurement and stores departments to prevent delays or interruptions at the work front.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to site safety protocols, cleanliness, and labor discipline.
• Report any drawing discrepancies, site challenges, delays, or risks along with recommended corrective actions to management.
