Role overview
Repco is seeking a Senior Retail Assistant / Duty Manager for its Te Puke store. The role sits within a respected automotive brand that is continuing to expand, offering a chance to build your career with a well-established company and a capable, experienced team. You will receive strong training and support while working in a customer-facing retail environment.
Working pattern
- Sunday: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Total weekly hours: 31
What the role involves
The main objective of this position is to create a positive in-store experience for every customer. From welcoming people into the store to helping them choose suitable products, suggesting upgrades where appropriate, and completing transactions at the register, you will help drive both service quality and sales outcomes. You will also act as a key holder, handling open and close duties and leading the Sunday shift.

Role requirements
This is a heavily customer-focused role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, although full product training will be provided. A genuine interest in automotive products is an advantage, but strong customer focus can be just as valuable. You should be comfortable working in sales and retail settings, handling a range of customers, communicating clearly, and maintaining a professional phone manner. A positive, team-oriented, can-do approach is important. The job also involves lifting, bending, and climbing.
