About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Recruiter on a contract basis, located in the United States, to support a mission-driven organization aimed at expanding access to technology education. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to ambitious growth efforts in an AI-enhanced recruitment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs and enhance candidate pipelines, implementing effective recruiting strategies.
- Design and deploy sourcing approaches to discover, attract, and engage high-caliber candidates across diverse positions.
- Oversee the full recruitment process including sourcing, outreach, screening, interview facilitation, and candidate relationship management.
- Create positive candidate experiences by maintaining transparent, thoughtful, and engaging communication.
- Leverage AI-powered recruiting technologies along with innovative sourcing methods to boost efficiency while ensuring sound human judgment.
- Improve recruitment pipelines, shorten time-to-hire, and aid in making well-informed hiring decisions.
- Adapt and provide structure within a dynamic, fast-evolving work environment.
- Work collaboratively across internal teams to uphold consistent recruitment standards and a favorable candidate experience.
- Follow best recruitment practices, ensuring excellent communication, organization, and compliance throughout hiring activities.
- Offer recommendations and insights aimed at enhancing talent acquisition strategies continuously.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferable in startups or rapidly growing organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of recruiting workflows including sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement.
- Proficiency in integrating AI tools into recruiting processes to automate where appropriate while maintaining essential human oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to establish trusting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
- Preferred experience recruiting for technical roles such as software engineering, data engineering, product management, or data science.
- Familiar with recruiting platforms like LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Gem, G Suite, or related technologies.
- Experience with AI-based sourcing, screening, or candidate outreach tools is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored for effective candidate interaction.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed, flexible, and capable of thriving in a remote work setting.

Benefits and Compensation
- A competitive compensation range of $85,000 to $110,000 annually, prorated for a 6-month contract period.
- Fully remote work permitted across the United States.
