Senior Program Manager, Direct-to-Patient

As the Senior Program Manager, you will translate strategic objectives into tangible results by managing complex programs that span digital health, operations, commercial activities, and patient support. You will be responsible for ensuring readiness for launch by coordinating critical timeline management and aligning cross-functional teams along with external partners to secure a successful rollout.

Working within a tightly regulated healthcare landscape, you will influence the patient journey from enrollment to treatment delivery, collaborating with stakeholders across technology, medical, legal, and commercial sectors. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive launch roadmap encompassing patient intake, telehealth services, prescribing, fulfillment, billing, and support operations.
• Manage program timelines, critical milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies to achieve launch targets.
• Create frameworks for launch readiness that include criteria, checklists, testing plans, and Go/No-Go decision processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage dependencies using structured RAID management and timely escalation protocols.
• Coordinate activities across commercial, medical, regulatory, legal, operational, analytical, and technical teams.
• Lead governance sessions, maintain decisive records, and provide clear, executive-level status and risk reporting.
• Facilitate onboarding, integration, testing, and performance monitoring of external vendors and technology partners.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, ensure validation of the entire patient journey, and manage issue resolution before launch.
• Establish operational rhythms, reporting mechanisms, and documentation practices to maintain transparency throughout the program.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to build performance dashboards monitoring key metrics such as conversion rates, adherence, service levels, and channel effectiveness.
• Lead post-launch evaluations and optimizations to enhance scalability and future program performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of six years in program or project management, commercial operations, digital health, or equivalent experience through different educational routes.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex, multi-stakeholder programs involving various workstreams and external collaborators.
• Preferably from backgrounds including healthcare, pharmaceutical commercialization, biotechnology, digital health, telehealth, or related sectors.
• Proven track record of overseeing major launches within compressed timelines and structured decision frameworks.
• Experienced in coordinating technology platforms, fulfillment providers, pharmacy services, and operational teams.
• Familiarity with system integrations, API workflows, data flows, and performance reporting ecosystems.
• Ability to work cooperatively with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and other teams in regulated industries.
• Proficient in program management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Waterfall, Smartsheet, Jira, or MS Project.
• Certifications like PMP, CSM, or similar credentials are advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of executive presentations and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical thinking with the aptitude for prioritizing competing priorities and operating effectively amid ambiguity.
