Senior Process Engineer

Overview

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for a variety of process engineering tasks within the plant environment. Key duties include overseeing plant and facility performance, producing daily performance summaries, and suggesting corrective measures to manage any operational irregularities. The role also involves conducting studies to innovate, validate, and implement operational modifications at the plant.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Monitor and analyze daily plant performance and recommend strategic actions to address abnormalities.
• Conduct process studies aimed at advancing operational practices and ensuring plant efficiency.
• Utilize process simulation tools tailored to Refinery or Linear Alkyl Benzene plants for operational enhancements.
• Employ software systems such as Refinery Information System, Process Historian Data, Laboratory information systems, SAP, and automation software, alongside Microsoft Project, Excel, and presentation software for workflow and data analysis.
• Implement and align procedures with international standards including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025, and ISO 14000 to maintain quality management and environmental compliance within the refinery's Integrated Management System.
• Maintain good understanding of relevant international standards applicable to refinery operations.
• Apply strong analytical capabilities concerning refinery or LAB plant economics to support business decisions.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation drafting skills in English, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Processing Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of practical experience in process operations within a Refinery or Linear Alkyl Benzene plant setting.
• Fluency in English with strong interpersonal communication skills.
