Senior Manager - Residential Strategy

Overview

This senior strategic position supports teams focused on residential development by shaping market-driven development strategies, assessing investment opportunities, and guiding strategic decisions within the residential business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify gaps and potential in the residential development portfolio to enhance the variety and rollout pace through market insights.
• Develop thorough development strategies addressing customer targeting, product differentiation, and adapting to evolving market demands.
• Refine and develop business models, including fee structures, scope definitions, developer selections, and evaluating best-use analyses.
• Prepare and deliver presentations that convey the team's and department's information to management.
• Examine the entire residential development process to discover efficiencies and areas for optimization.
• Act as a company representative in engagements with external consultants, investment funds, developers, and end users.
• Analyze and assess various investment frameworks and structures.
• Design operational roadmaps detailing requirements, processes, and procedures for real estate activities, including setting up development and investment entities and liaising with authorities.
• Create compelling business cases to support residential development projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 9 years of professional experience combining strategy consulting and real estate investment or development.
• At least 3 years in a consulting capacity.
• Additional experience in real estate development, investment, or strategic roles is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields; advanced degrees such as an MBA or relevant Master’s are beneficial.
• Demonstrated expertise in real estate investment analysis, market evaluation, development, or strategy, gained within consulting or specialized real estate firms.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities and familiarity with evaluating complex investment structures.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders from both public and private sectors.
• Excellent skills in presenting and communicating complex information effectively.
