Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Ionic Web & Mobile Applications

Overview

The Senior Full-Stack Engineer specializing in Ionic web and mobile platforms is tasked with designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-quality cross-platform applications. This role ensures that solutions adhere to architectural standards, security protocols, and best engineering practices while being specification-driven.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering delivery efforts and provide technical direction to teams to achieve successful project outcomes aligned with business and technical goals.
• Offer mentorship and technical guidance to developers, ensuring adherence to architectural frameworks, engineering best practices, and Agile processes.
• Design, develop, and implement applications using Angular and Ionic frameworks following Specification-Driven Development (SDD), OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and contract-first methodologies.
• Maintain application excellence by performing architecture and code reviews, promoting testing, security, and performance in accordance with software development lifecycle procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Architects, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, fulfill Definition of Ready criteria, and deliver on business objectives.
• Drive continuous engineering improvements through quality initiatives, automation, AI-enhanced development, and adoption of state-of-the-art tools and often-used frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Over a decade of software development experience with at least five years focused on enterprise-grade web and mobile applications using Angular and Ionic.
• Demonstrated proficiency in building cross-platform solutions using Angular 16+, Ionic, TypeScript, Capacitor, RxJS, state management, unit testing, PWAs, localization, REST and GraphQL APIs, and modern mobile development techniques.
• Deep understanding of Angular architecture, including performance tuning with Angular Signals, OnPush change detection strategy, reusable UI components, and contemporary front-end development practices.
• Hands-on experience with technologies and tools spanning:
  • Web & Mobile: Angular, Ionic, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Capacitor
  • Native Mobile: Swift, Kotlin, Xcode, Android Studio, deployment to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Backend & Integration: Node.js, NestJS, REST APIs, Microservices, GraphQL, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI
  • DevOps & Quality Tools: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Fastlane, CI/CD pipelines, Appium, Detox testing frameworks
• Proven leadership capabilities, with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving skills, and experience mentoring technical teams. Familiarity with AI-powered development approaches is a plus.
