Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and development of basis of design, ensuring each phase is completed to quality standards.
• Coordinate project activities internally within the electrical engineering discipline to meet scheduled timelines.
• Oversee and approve design documents including layouts, schematics, and calculations, assuring compliance with standards and client expectations.
• Apply value engineering techniques to optimize project solutions effectively.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, with responsibility for accurate cost reporting aligned with project objectives.
• Manage relationships with external consultants and service providers as the main contact person.
• Review IES reports, conduct daylight and sunlight analysis, and propose enhancements.
• Participate actively in project and design team meetings to ensure all action points are addressed promptly.
• Mentor junior engineers by sharing expertise to facilitate their professional growth.
• Stay updated with regulatory developments and disseminate relevant information within the team.
• Engage in industry events to keep abreast of emerging market trends.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Substantial experience specializing in electrical engineering within building services.
• Proven leadership in managing projects and overseeing technical and design elements.
• In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and value engineering practices.
• Experience mentoring and fostering teamwork among junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and coordinate external consultants.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and similar platforms.
• Expertise in cost management and budget preparation for engineering projects.
