Senior Delivery Consultant

Overview

This full-time position is primarily remote within the UK, requiring occasional travel to offices and client locations. The role focuses on leading the implementation and deployment of ActiveControl, an advanced SAP change management platform designed to automate and enhance SAP change processes for enterprise clients.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead projects independently to implement ActiveControl, managing timelines, scope, and client results.
• Assess client SAP change landscapes and translate business requirements into technical configurations.
• Configure and deploy ActiveControl across complex, multi-layered SAP environments, including containerized setups.
• Collaborate with diverse local and remote teams including technical, functional, and business stakeholders.
• Support deployment cutovers and provide hypercare stabilization after go-live.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for delivery, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
• Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring change adoption and understanding of impact.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in SAP consulting or SAP-focused technical roles, particularly SAP Basis.
• Proficient with SAP transports, change and release management tools such as SAP Solution Manager ChaRM and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, technical architecture, role-based security, and repository/customizing object handling.
• Familiarity with containerized deployment and multi-layered application architectures.
• Strong project management capabilities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SAP security compliance requirements, including SOX and segregation of duties.
• Willingness for occasional domestic and international travel for client engagements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps with SAP systems.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and OData gateway.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum, DevOps, or similar methodologies.
• Previous exposure to ActiveControl software.
• German language proficiency is a plus.
